My name is Curtis Free, an I have the most absolutely amazing wife in the world.

I am currently pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where my "threads" (focus areas) are platforms and information internetworks.

My primary interests lie in computing – especially lower-level and back-end topics. My favorite areas of study include web development, databases, operating systems/computer architecture, and (more specifically) Linux.

Around the internet, I typically use the alias ssjlegendx (a name that has stuck around since my DragonBall Z days).

CurtisFree.com is – as you might have supposed – my little part of the Web. It's not a blog, not a Twitter, etc. – just whatever I want to put up here.

The avatar seen on this site (and that I use in many places) was created with an online avatar generator like the one found on I Am Bored.

The simple design of this website – which has "evolved" slightly over time – was originally based on LiveJournal's "Generator" theme.

The color scheme (particularly the green background) is inspired by that of claimID (and possibly other websites).

Finally, the navigation menu icons are part of the free and excellent "Silk" icon set from famfamfam.com.

I also note that this website is "powered by" CF-CMS – my own homebrew content management system (CMS). See Projects for more information.
